This page summarises the key principles of the Expert Agreement. The full legal terms are available as part of the Expert registration process. By publishing an ABI App, Experts accept these terms.

Expert Responsibilities

Experts are responsible for the professional correctness of the logic they design. The platform executes that logic faithfully — it does not verify whether the logic is professionally accurate. That accountability rests entirely with the Expert.

  • Design workflows that are accurate, structured, and appropriate for their declared professional purpose
  • Test apps thoroughly before accepting the Digital Oath and publishing
  • Declare appropriate supervision requirements for every app
  • Maintain published apps — investigate quality signals and release corrected versions when issues are identified
  • Accept professional responsibility for each published version via the Digital Oath
  • Notify platform governance if a published issue may have affected users

Acceptable Use

Experts may use Builder to design ABI Apps in supported professional domains. Acceptable use requires that:

  • Apps are designed to assist professional users — not to replace professional judgement
  • Outputs do not claim to be certified, authoritative, or definitive unless the Expert has the professional authority to make that claim
  • Professional caveats are included in output schemas where outputs carry professional risk
  • Apps do not contain logic designed to mislead users about the nature or accuracy of outputs
  • Third-party content used in app design complies with applicable intellectual property laws

Publishing Conditions

An ABI App can only be published to Appstream when it meets all of the following conditions:

  • All six required ABI files are present and structurally valid
  • The Expert is verified and in good standing on the platform
  • The app has been tested against the required test case coverage
  • Governance requirements are correctly configured for the app's risk level
  • The Digital Oath has been accepted for the specific version being published
  • Provider and engine bindings are from the platform allow-list

If any condition is not met, publication is blocked. The Expert receives a clear explanation of what must be corrected before resubmission.

Digital Oath

The Digital Oath is the formal expression of Expert accountability. It is required before every version publication — including updates to existing apps.

"I accept professional responsibility for this execution tool version."

The oath creates a permanent record linked to the Expert's identity, the app, and the specific version. Once accepted, it cannot be revoked. If issues are discovered after publication, the Expert must release a corrected version — the original oath and version remain in the audit record.

Earnings Conditions

Expert earnings are generated when a user's execution of a published app reaches the finalised state. Earnings are not generated for:

  • Failed or cancelled executions
  • Simulation or test runs
  • Executions where the output draft is not acknowledged by the user
  • Executions during periods of Expert account suspension or restriction
  • Apps under active platform investigation or with revoked publication status

Enforcement

The platform monitors published apps continuously. Apps that fall below quality thresholds are flagged, and Experts are notified with a remediation window. Persistent quality failures, conduct violations, or misuse may result in app suspension, earnings withholding, or Expert account restriction.

The platform will always explain the reason for any enforcement action and provide a defined process for the Expert to respond.
